Christmas biscuits or Christmas cookies
There are many recipes for different sorts of Christmas biscuits. (In England where Mortimer and his friends live, people call them biscuits but people in America say cookies instead.) Christmas biscuits often have spicy ingredients like cinnamon or ginger that you don’t use for normal biscuits. This gives them their special flavour.
