Work in pairs – each partner writes down 5 words on a sheet of paper which are related to the activities he/she did yesterday. Now the partner tries to reconstruct the course of the day. It may become pretty loud in the classroom but this way you guarantee everyone gets to speak English right at the beginning of the lesson ... Special thanks to Mrs Fels for sharing!
