Children with disabilities learn English playfully with the Mortimer English Club in Fulda, Germany.
In one of the most recent editions of the “Fuldaer Zeitung” of March 5th, 2013 a very special project was presented. Our franchise partner René Harkins from Fulda started a collaboration with the Antonius-von-Padua school where he teaches children with disabilities in a playful way every Monday afternoon. The kids of ages 9 to 14 are always looking forward to visit the lessons of Mr. Harkins. By using the Mortimer method he shows the children how they can handle the English language with lots of fun and without any pressure to perform. With this unique project he gives an amazing example of how people with disabilities can simply learn a foreign language with the right method. Again and again we’re proud to see our franchise partners organise such great projects!
