New Mortimer Master Partner for the Arabian Peninsula and Egypt!
At the headquarters in Herscheid, the management and employees of Mortimer English Club are staring at a map of the world – amazed at the company’s rapid international expansion. It will soon be possible to attend Mortimer English Club courses in eight more countries: Saudi-Arabia, the Arabian Emirates, Qatar, Kuwait, Bahrain, Oman, Yemen and Egypt.
Mahmoud Galal, a businessman from Egypt, found out about Mortimer whilst looking for innovative education programmes on the internet. He was very impressed by the concept and found the lesson plans for children and adults exciting as they are carried out in a playful way.
Mahmoud and Beverly Galal from Saudi Arabia
Later, Mahmoud and his wife, Beverly Galal, visited the headquarters in Herscheid where they were both very impressed by the lesson plans and creative materials. Their expectations were exceeded. After speaking with his business partner, Mr. Abou Alkhair Faisal, Mr. Galal concluded that Mortimer-English Club should also be introduced to these new markets.
Mr. Faisal has acquired the Master Franchise for Saudi Arabia and the Gulf States, while Mahmoud Galal will develop the franchise with his Master licence in Egypt.
“This new concept fills a very large gap in our country” said Mr Galal, “There aren’t many innovative concepts in the area of language teaching, but there is great demand to learn the English language. Therefore I am very happy to bring Mortimer to the Arab world.”
The new Master Partners were trained in December at Mortimer’s headquarters in Germany. Mr. Galal and his wife, together with their two daughters, visited the training centre, received intensive training and developed a strategic approach to introduce Mortimer to the Middle East. The Mortimer team enjoyed spending time with their exotic guests and learned a great deal about the Arabian culture. It was fascinating to experience first-hand that speaking a common language can bring together people from different cultures.
The Mortimer headquarters in Riyadh – the capital of Saudi Arabia – is currently being renovated. The excitement and motivation of the Saudis is incredible - children and adults are already showing great interest. The entire Mortimer team would like to wish them all the best and great success in their new endeavour.
Mortimer English Club has now awarded 13 Master licences and is active in fifteen countries. The international interest in the Mortimer concept is very high. The owners Karola Scheer and Jürgen Nauditt hope more countries will soon follow.
Mortimer is still looking for motivated Franchise and Master Franchise partners from around the globe who would be interested in teaching children and adults using this innovative concept or who would like to manage a language school.
